For 25 years, the Vinyl Siding Institute, Inc. (VSI) has sponsored the Awards of Distinction program to honor outstanding projects that use vinyl siding. Award winners showcase the design versatility, quality performance, and beauty of vinyl siding, and feature products certified through the VSI Vinyl Siding Product Certification Program. VSI developed the VSI Vinyl Siding Product Certification Program to assure homeowners, builders, remodelers, contractors, code officials, and architects of the quality of the vinyl siding they select and use. Through an independent inspection process, certified products are verified to meet or exceed ASTM D3679, the long-standing, industry-wide standard for quality vinyl siding.
